Dearest Friends,

Endless Delight

We are in rural Tennessee for several days of shows. At the end of every performance, we finish with our Big Bear puppet shooting a confetti cannon. The children love it! You can see their joy!

A little girl told me today that she hated herself. She thought she was ugly and said her nose was her worse feature. She was only 10 and beautiful! I told her that God disagreed with her. I told her that God had made her beautiful. I watched her as she listened to the story. She was very intent. I do not know how she responded to the Gospel.

I heard a single little girl calling on Jesus as I lead the children in a prayer. With every line that she had the courage to pray, others found the courage to join her. It was beautiful!

Over half the children in this place are being raised by grandparents, aunts or uncles or foster parents. I was told that very few of the children we saw today come from a traditional family where they enjoy 2 parents. They gave us hugs and were so eager to talk with me. They desperately wanted to be seen, to be loved, to be known.

Please pray for us as we see hundreds more children tomorrow. Pray for all the children we saw today. Ask the Father to help them remember Jesus.

In Jesus, Linda, Kelsey, Leslie and Drake
