Dearest Friends,
This morning ,the following was my verse for the day:
" For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12
It is easy when you are serving in a place where so many are against you, your friends, and the work you are doing, to lose sight of the real enemy. It is easy to be distracted by their words, threats, and actions. Please pray for us that we will remember who we are truly fighting. Those who are so strongly against us are also the ones we must reach with the hope of God’s rescue plan. They desperately need Jesus! Even as they fight against us, they loudly proclaim their great need for the cross.
The opposition is doing its best to close our access to Muslim children and their parents, but God is always opening a new door. Many of the children that we saw last year, we will not be allowed to see again. They heard the Gospel for the first time in their lives. For too many, our enemy would make it their only time to hear about Jesus.
We need you to pray. This battle will be fought and won on our knees!
Please know that I am safe and blessed to be with my Middle Eastern family. All of the gifts for the refugee children arrived safely. God is so kind! Please be faithful to pray as we drive north today and expect much opposition to our programs.
